The Chief Economic Advisor of Malaysia-China Business Council, Dato’ Dr. Tan Yew Chong, called on the Chinese and Malaysian governments to explore the possibility of implementing the “two countries, one inspection” measure, by exploring unified standards, simplified procedures and mutual recognition of certification to enhance the convenience of customs clearance for goods traded between the two countries, thus boosting the bilateral trade volume.
