YB Dato Sri Tiong King Sing visited Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) and was received by Wang Ruifang, President of Xiamen University Malaysia. Dato Sri Tiong King Sing suggested that Xiamen University could consider setting up an additional campus in East Malaysia, Sarawak.
He hoped that Xiamen University will explore the possibilities of establishing an agriculture department in Malaysia or setting up a Smart Agriculture Faculty (branch) in Sarawak to help Sarawak develop smart agriculture. Dato Sri Tiong expressed his appreciation and gratification for XMUM’s high quality of education and hoped that with the strict control of the education quality of the school, XMUM could nurture more outstanding talents for Malaysia.
