The China-Malaysia Production Capacity & Investment Cooperation Forum took place at Grand Hyatt Hotel Kuala Lumpur under the theme “Navigating Success: Forging Alliances for a Win-Win Future.
This event was hosted by Department of Foreign Capital and Overseas Investment, National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) China, supported by Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), and organised by China Communications Construction Company.
YB Tuan Liew Chin Tong, Deputy Minister of Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry Malaysia was invited as Guest of Honour of the event. The other VVIPs were Zhang Jianhua, Deputy Director-General of Department of Foreign Capital and Overseas Investment of NDRC; Sun Shuqiang, Minister Counsellor of the China Embassy in Malaysia; and Lim Bee Vian, Deputy CEO of MIDA.
Dato’ Beh Hang Kong was invited to represent MCBC and delivered a speech. He has proposed three suggestions to enhance the production capacity and investment between China and Malaysia: (1) Set-up Kuantan & Qingzhou twin parks plus; (2) implement “Dual-Country Single Inspection”; (3) Capacity building for talent pool.
