Mr. Liang Wanrong, President of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) of Ningxia led a delegation team to MCBC, which was received by MCBC Directors, Dato Beh Hang Kong, Datuk Dr. Yong Teck Shing, and Dato’ Ir Fong Tian Yong.
MCBC and CCPIT Ningxia exchanged ideas of promoting trade and investments in both Malaysia and Ningxia, China. Mr. Liang introduced that the government of Ningxia focuses on developing the renewable energy and agriculture industries, such as grape, milk, meat, vegetables and Goji.
Besides, the meeting has discussed about the topic of halal certification recognition on Ningxia’s products. Mr. Shaikh Harun, President of Regional Bilateral Trade an Investment Association of Malaysia (RBTIA) had provided the relevant information to CCPIT Ningxia.
Meanwhile, MCBC have signed MoU with CCPIT Ningxia to enhance the trade and investment development of both regions.
