Malaysia-China Business Council (MCBC) paid a courtesy call to the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), Mr. Mohd Mustafa Abdul Aziz at Menara MATRADE, Kuala Lumpur today.
The meeting was held to discuss on ways to strengthen working partnership between both organizations and explore more opportunities for future collaboration.
During the meeting, the Executive Director of MCBC, Datuk Yong Teck Shing has also congratulated Mr. Mohd Mustafa on his appointment as the CEO of MATRADE.
Mr. Mohd Mustafa was appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of MATRADE following the retirement of Dato’ Wan Latiff Wan Musa starting from 25th December 2020. He was previously the Deputy CEO (Export Acceleration) of MATRADE, has extensive knowledge in international trade and has held various positions within the organisation including leading the markets of ASEAN & Australasia, China & North East Asia, Central Asia, West Asia, South Asia & Africa.
Also present during the meeting were the Chief Executive Officer of MCBC, Mr. Samuel Lee and the President of Malaysia International Exhibitors Association, Mr. Jonathan Yew Chee Ming.
