Prime Minister’s Special Envoy to the People’s Republic of China cum MCBC Chairman, Dato Sri Tiong King Sing had received a courtesy call from Sabah Maritime Silk Association at Malaysia-China Business Council’s office, Wisma Golden Eagle Realty, Kuala Lumpur.
The Chairman of Sabah Maritime Silk Association, Datuk Philip Yong said that Xiamen University is among the best projects ever done by MCBC. So he hopes that Sabah Maritime Silk will also be able to create a good one with China.
Meanwhile the Founding Chairman, Dr. Tan Beng Huat has also introduced the establishment of Sabah Maritime Silk Association and the history and connection among Sabah chinese culture with China.
Sabah Maritime Silk Association also pointed out their interest to Dato Sri Tiong to collaborate with MCBC in promoting Sabah culture tourism to China.
MCBC and Sabah Maritime Silk Association have established good relationships and both parties hope to work together in the future.
