MCBC COO Georgie Too attended and delivered a talk on Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) development in Sabah at the “High-Quality One Belt One Road Cooperation Forum” held at Sabah International Convention Centre, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
The “High-Quality One Belt One Road Cooperation Forum” was jointly organised by the Malaysia Maritime Silk Route Research Society and the Sabah Maritime Silk Route Research & Advancement Society to promote Sabah’s development with the opportunities presented by BRI.
YB Datuk Seri Panglima Dr Jeffrey G. Kitingan, Deputy Chief Minister 1 cum State Minster of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Industry Sabah and H.E. Huang Shifang, Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Kota Kinabalu emphasised on the importance of Sabah cooperating and capitalising on the BRI to build Malaysia-China community of shared destiny.
