MCBC was invited as a supporting organiser to the event, “Invest in China Year” (Embracing ASEAN) and the 10th Anniversary Celebration of the Establishment of Malaysia-China Kuantan Industrial Park under Malaysia-China “Two Countries Twin Parks” Framework.
The event was hosted by the People’s Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in China jointly with MITI and the Pahang state government, with the theme of “Sharing Opportunities and Seeking Common Development for a More Open, Prosperous, and Brighter Future”.
The event was attended by the Secretary of CPC Guangxi Committee, Mr Liu Ning, Minister of Transport Malaysia, YB Anthony Loke Siew Fook, Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia, H.E. Ouyang Yujing, and Menteri Besar of Pahang, YAB Dato Sri Haji Wan Rosdy, who officiated the launching of the event.
MCBC director Dato’ Beh Hang Kong delivered an inspiring speech on his experience in the development of CMQIP and MCKIP to share his insights on Malaysia-China economic cooperation.
