Malaysia-China Business Council was welcomed by JDMas to officiate the JDX Presto Merchant Pre-Launch Engagement & Store Unveiling at JDX Presto Malaysia Flagship Store, Quill City Mall, Kuala Lumpur.
The Executive Director of Malaysia-China Business Council (MCBC), Datuk Yong Teck Shing has officiated the pre-launch which was also conducted virtually through ZOOM, a video meeting app.
The Managing Director of JDMas Commerce Sdn Bhd, Dato’ Bruce Lim mentioned that the purpose of having this pre-launch is to inform Malaysian SMEs on how to promote their brands into the China market through JD’s platform.
“We want to unveil how your stores are going to look like, how are you going to look like, how your brand is going to be placed among the store and more,” he said.
He also added that the official launch of the Malaysia Flagship Store will be held in the middle of September 2020, in conjunction with Malaysia Day. The launch of the store will be physically at Quill City Mall as well as the virtual store will be on JD’s platform.
Representatives from Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) and Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) also shared some latest information regarding e-commerce and the Short-Term Economic Recovery Plan (PENJANA) campaigns funded by Malaysia’s government.
Datuk Yong has congratulated JDMas during the pre-launch and he said that the selection of the date for the upcoming official launch of the store on Malaysia Day is very significant.
