LONGi Malaysia recently organized the Phase 1 Grand Opening and Phase 2 Groundbreaking Ceremony for its Serendah Module Plant, extending a gracious invitation to MCBC to participate in this significant event.
Situated on a sprawling 140-acre land in Serendah, this facility marks a crucial milestone. Phase one construction has been successfully concluded, with phase two slated for completion by March 2024. Upon the culmination of both phases, the module plant is set to boast an impressive combined production capacity of 8.8 gigawatts (GW) per annum.
At the ceremony, Datuk Bahria Mohd Tamil, Deputy Secretary-General of the Ministry of Investment, Trade, and Industry, had representing Minister YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul as the Guest of Honour. Additionally, YB Ng Sze Han, the Investment, Trade, and Mobility EXCO of Selangor, delivered an insightful speech.
