Tan Sri Ong Ka Ting meets Guangxi CPC Secretary Peng Qinghua

THE China-Southeast Asia High-Level People-to-People Dialogue was held in Nanning, capital city of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on June 3 where Tan Sri Ong Ka Ting had a fruitful discussion with Mr Peng Qinghua, CPC Secretary of Guangxi.

Mr Peng praised Tan Sri Ong for his immense contribution towards the establishment of the “sister parks” – the Qinzhou Industrial Park and the Kuantan Industrial Park. He expressed the hope that Tan Sri Ong would continue his efforts to promote an even stronger co-operation between Guangxi and Malaysia.

Tan Sri Ong in his address commended the tremendous progress achieved in the bilateral ties between Malaysia and China. Noting that Malaysia and China would celebrate the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties next year, he expected many more programmes and exchanges would be in store.  MCBC, on its part, would step up its efforts to further enhance the already strong bilateral co-operation.
