MCBC Delegates, Director Datuk Philip Yong and CEO Samuel Lee along with few delegates of China Construction Bank (Labuan), TusStar Malaysia, and Chinese (China) Students Representative from several universities in Malaysia paid a visit to University of Technology Sarawak, Sibu.
The visit was received by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wong Sing Sing, Malaysian Dean of the Confucius Institute at UTS cum Director of Centre for International Relations of UTS and led the delegates to have a campus tour.
During the meeting session, Dr. Wong introduced the university to the delegates. He said that the school has highly qualified lecturers and top-notch facilities which are in compliance with international standards. The university is fully prepared to admit more international students and cultivate talents for the world. Dr. Wong hoped that the relevant parties can understand more about UTS and jointly discover the possibilities to further deepen the cooperation between UTS and universities/institutions in China, including jointly setting up a science and technology park incubation project. Meanwhile, Chinese students are also welcome to study at UTS.
