4.9.2018: MCBC Chairman YB Tan Kok Wai led a delegation for a courtesy call to Chairman of CCPIT, Mr. Jiang Zengwei on the close collaboration between MCBC and CCPIT to deepen the cooperation of trade and investment between Malaysia and China.
Jiang expressed appreciation on stronger tie and trade subsequent to the official visit by Malaysia Prime Minister Tun Mahathir to China.
YB Tan expressed that with the setting up of a new government of Malaysia, the bilateral relationship between Malaysia and China will be enhanced. He mentioned that under the current trade war between US and China, Malaysia is opposed to unilateralism and protectionism by US but support on multilateralism similar to China’s stand. As such, the future trade between Malaysia and China should be enhanced.
